1.2 Biometric Information (Facial Recognition)
Nukleus uses facial recognition technology solely for secure access control at Nukleus-managed premises.
When this feature is enabled by you:
- A facial scan is collected for identity verification
- The purpose is to prevent unauthorized access and enable contactless entry
Key safeguards:
- Facial recognition is optional
- It is disabled by default
- It is activated only after explicit, informed user consent within the App
Biometric data is not used for:
- Marketing or advertising
- Profiling or behavioural analysis
- Analytics unrelated to access control
1.3 Technical and Usage Information
We may automatically collect certain technical information, including:
- Device type, device name, and operating system
- App version and configuration
- Device ID (for sending notifications and alerts)
- Log data related to access attempts (date, time, success/failure)
- Internet Protocol (IP) address
- Time and date of App usage
This information is used to ensure App functionality, security monitoring, error diagnosis, and service improvement.
1.4 Contact List Access
The App may request access to your device’s contact list solely for user convenience, such as simplifying visitor entry details.
- Granting contact access is optional
- Contact data is not mandatory for App usage
- Contact data is not stored in Nukleus databases
1.5 Images and Camera Access
The App may access your camera or gallery for uploading images while raising facility-related tickets or incidents.
- Image upload is optional
- Tickets can be raised without uploading images
- Uploaded images are stored securely in our database for ticket resolution purposes
- PURPOSE OF DATA COLLECTION AND USE
We collect and process personal and biometric data strictly for the following purposes:
- Identity verification and access control
- Enhancing physical security at Nukleus premises
- Preventing unauthorized entry
- Managing memberships and user access
- Facilitating visitor management
- Raising and resolving service or facility-related tickets

- DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
- Facial recognition data is retained only while you remain an active member
- Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy or as required by law
Data is permanently deleted:
- Upon membership termination
- Upon withdrawal of biometric consent
- Upon receipt of a verified user request
- When retention is no longer legally or operationally required
Deletion is irreversible and performed in a secure manner.
